Found life right away this morning on the first drop, had to leave it as we couldn't hold with 12 ounces and it got nasty.
The roll made it very cranky. Ran to another area, found some shorts and an odd keeper wasn't happy at all with that either.
Wind laid down, the current backed off so I ran back to our first stop when the conditions got right. Found some beauties that wanted to bite.
Big Dave & John landed three very nice fish each, John's would have been the monthly pool leader at 5 pounds 9 ounces instead he took the daily pool today. June and a couple other customers had 2 nice fish also. Some nice Sea Bass in the mix. Still a very cranky day out there but we got it done!
Back at it tomorrow 7:30am till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10. Bring Ice & extra rigs.

The guys had to work a little harder to get it done today....
Father & Son team Mike Pietropalo & Mike Jr. had the hot hands in the AM landing their 3 and then some along with John Pataine and a couple Customers with their 3 keepers.
Not easy fishing in the rough stuff for most but that's where we have to be to catch. Pool Fish went 4 pounds 9 ounces along with several fish in the 3 pound range. Back at it in the AM, Weatherman trying once again to rain on our parade, I call Bull****T.
7:30am till 3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

FISHERMEN/Best day of the Season so far, Fridays Report

Good conditions all day, much better bite than what we have had the past two weeks.
High hook had 5, Several guys had their 3 along with good short action. Dennis took the daily pool and just missed being the new pool leader with a 4 pound 11 ounce fish.
Weather looks great for tomorrow and we can keep some Sea Bass. Tossed one back today the was just under 5 pound!
Make sure to bring extra Rigs & Sinkers, we do have aboard if you need them. Fishing Rocky bottom, if you just drag, you will get stuck so be prepared.
7:30am till 2:30pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.....Please arrive early on the Weekend.

Much better fishing & action today.....
Slugged away to get the keepers with Eric landing his three, several guys with 2 and so on.
Steve "Chaos" is our new Monthly pool leader with a nice 4 pound 15 ounce Fluke.
Weather looks good the rest of the week, sailing everyday 7:30am till 3:00pm. Open boat, No Reservations just come on down.

Beautiful day out there today, had any drop I wanted all to myself, I just wish the fish got the memo!!
Had no drift for the first couple hours, caught a bunch of shorts and an odd keeper. When conditions got right on the next tide I thought for sure we would at least have a decent pick. Again, not good.
Bounced around all day ending up with a couple hand-full of keepers and a bunch of shorts for the effort....The Sea Bass which would have made the day, you know the story with that...come Saturday there probably won't be one to be found!
Ben took the pool with a nice 3 1/2 pound fish, 2 keepers and a bunch of shorts.
Back at it in the AM, Weather looks great, change of wind direction finally should be a plus!!
