This morning we had the readings on the first drop, thought for sure it would be up & down fishing.....

We only had a dismal pick. Made a quick move to deeper water, same thing, read the hell out of them, they wouldn't bite!  Third drop we had a nice little pick going but it was short lived.

Left the area and finished up with some drop & reel fishing, lots of action picking through the smaller fish to get the keepers.

93 year Old Henry, the Patriarch on so many boats over the years had a nice catch and took the pool with a beautiful Sea Bass. Had several Fluke in the mix, one that was a nice keeper that didn't want to wait for the net....we will get him next Tuesday!

Last Sea Bass trip is Monday the 19th, Fluke fishing after that, everyday. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90 Rod Rental $10.

Mike Hettesheimer, Boss Man of Spartech had his crew out with us today for their annual fishing trip.....

Once again, we did not disapoint!  Guys & Gal's had a very nice trip with lot's of action on Sea Bass. 2 drops to get it done before the South wind came on at the end of the day.

Back at it in the AM. "Sea Bass Special" till the 19th, then it's Fluke time on the 20th.

Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Another perfect 10 today!!  Ocean was beautiful and we had a nice all day bite once again. 

Several customers where in the groove from start to finish with some very nice large Sea Bass.

A quick lesson to a young man in the stern and he ended up catching the pool fish. Always pays to listen to the crew, we do this everyday!

The current ran a bit more than usual today so you had to have at least 8 ounce to keep you out of trouble. Those that fished with 4 ounces and braid just made a mess, got frustrated and blamed everyone but themselves. Sorry guys, that's not on me. 

Next Open trip is Monday, we are NOT AVAILABLE TOMORROW.  Everyday after 7:30am till 3:00pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.  Bring Ice.

Today was the first trip we didn't have drop & reel fishing all day, not that it was bad, you had to work a little harder to catch.

Certainly we got spoiled the past couple of weeks. Several customers still had their 10 with a bunch of ling mixed in.  Tom took the pool with a nice 2 1/2 pound Sea Bass.  Weather looks great for tomorrow!  NOT AVAILABLE ON SUNDAY.
