FISHERMEN/LABOR DAY VERY GOOD FISHING!!! MONDAY

Left the dock with a nice group of Fishermen Regulars that came to catch.....
Took a bit to get everyone acclimated with the heavy sinkers and the how to fish the bottom, once they got it it was game on!
Nice all day bite with plenty of action. Jimmy lead the way with a Double limit, several customers with their 3 by the end of the day including Henry, Kevin & Son, Jim, Steve, Richie, Mike and a few other customers. Some with two and a few with one. Kevin took the pool with a nice 4 -pound 9-ounce fish.
Not easy fishing with the conditions and fast drift, the guys with the heavier rods did much better. Again, you need a medium action Rod that can handle 10 ounces of lead. Leave the Ugly sticks home, you will just be stuck all day and it gets expensive. Bring some extra rigs and sinkers the next couple of days.
Tomorrow should be a re-peat of today with the weather, so come on down! It's September Fishing, the Fluke are Hungry.

FISHERMEN/SUNDAY FLUKE, SOME BEAUTIES TODAY!

Not easy fishing today with a lack of a drift or a breeze.
Worked a whole bunch of snags to get it done though....3 customers had 3 & 4 keepers on fish from 3-5 pounds. Several others had two in the cooler by days end. Tossing back beautiful Sea Bass is BS!!!
Highlight of the day was Glenn Padla, Hillborough NJ, with the best rack picture of the season....his first fish was a beauty at 8-pounds 6-ounces, Second fish 5 pounds Seven-ounces and the third one went 4-Pounds 9-ounces. He also took the daily pool. Great to see the big girls still around!

FISHERMEN/Labor Day weekend Report, Saturday

Much nicer day than I expected today! Ocean laid down quite a bit from the past two days.
Had steady action all day on short & keeper fluke along with some of the largest Sea Bass of the Season, a couple went 4-5 pounds. Several customers with 2, Mark landed his three. Pool fish just made 4 pounds. Back at it in the AM.

FISHERMEN/THURSDAYS REPORT

Had a nice gang of customers this morning so we made our way out to where we have been fishing.
It was not a nice ride, drift was very fast and uncomfortable.....fished 4 area's with just a couple fish, not a lot of bites so we left the area.
Took a ride back to calmer waters but found NO DRIFT at all. Couple more fish but it was a crap day to say the least, very disappointing.
WE WILL NOT BE FISHING TOMORROW FRIDAY. Going to let things settle down for a day. Back at it on Saturday as the wind goes light SW.

FISHERMEN/BIG FLUKE WEDNESDAY!!!

Had to cover a bunch of drops to find the hungry ones and get it done today.....
Big Fluke once again with Mustachio Richie taking another pool with a beautiful 6 pound 13 ounce fish, close call between himself and John who landed another 6 pound 9 ounce fish. Third fish went 6 pounds 3 ounces. Couple 3-5 pound fish in the mix as well.
Several guys with their three and then some, including Pete, Rich and John. Bunch of guys with 2 and plenty of shorts by days end!
Wasn't easy though, it did take all day and we put in some overtime in search mode to find them. The guys never quit!!
