Been beyond a struggle the past two days....
We covered many miles looking for the right conditions, every where we have been, I found No Current, No Drift. Power drifting in 95 ft of water isn't my idea of good Fluke fishing! The little current we did have naturally had the slight wind against all day.The whole Sea Bass thing is another joke, tossing back dinner for those who don't catch a Fluke.......
Only managed a handful of keepers today with the Shawn landing the Big one at 6.6 pounds for the pool. Tomorrow is another day, Fluke better watch out cause I am one Pissed off Captain!!
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY.

Had to fish several area's once again today to get it done....Found a few every where we fished just not enough to stay in one place.
Had several nice Fluke in the mix including Jamie's pool fish at 4 1/2 pounds. A few guys had their three by days end, Bill Cheverini Jr., Jessie, Tom & Don.
Conditions weren't good most of the day with wind against, best of the fishing came after the change of tide. Weather was a perfect 10 and looks great for the next several days!
See you in the AM. 7:30-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Had to grind it out today! Ocean was still too nasty to get off shore so we visited some old haunts.....
Worked several areas to put a catch together but we got it done. Pat had his three, several customers with 2 nice fish each by days end.
Alex took the pool with a nice 4 pound fluke.
Once again, it wasn't easy. Best of the bite was after the change of tide when we had some decent conditions. Weather looks great for the next several days, we should be able to get back out in the Ocean tomorrow!
7:30am-3:00pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Bunch of Hungry Regs were at the boat when I got there this morning.....Flag was straight out, just shook my head and headed for the Wheelhouse! The last day of the Monthly pool and everyone was gunning for Bill V.
Sadly, it was pretty dam nasty offshore, made two drifts then got the hell out of there. Fished several more area's, couple spots I haven't been in a while. Fishing was terrible, only a handfull of keepers and a bunch of shorts for the effort.
Drift in some spots with the wind & tide was over 2 knots. Not to often that I say I'm glad today is over.....Weather looks much better the next several days. Sailing everyday, 7:30-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
Congrads Bill Venezia on a Beautiful 9 pound Monthly winning Fluke!!

After a little rain squal this morning, the day turned out beautiful!
Fishing was OK also but it was not easy once again....
Mustachio Richie, Jessie, Rich in the Bow, Shawn & Louis all had their 3 by days end with Lou taking the pool with a nice 5 pound Fluke. Once that hard outgoing came through the last hour, the bite was over. Started to drift at almost 2 knots! Good thing it was time to go!!
Tomorrow is the last day for the Monthly pool...Bill Venezia is leading with a 9 pound fish. Will see what happens with the wind in the AM, supposed to blow NE pretty good..
