It was bad enough to get rained on in the AM but the conditions were the worst!!
S-SW came up pretty good naturally as the tide changed, with the moon tides the current running into the wind made it a Royal pain in the @@S!
Picked away on some drops, a couple drops had nothing but tiny fish. Last drop of the day produced some bigger fish & a few ling.
Walter took the pool with a 22 inch Cod fish.
Last Sea Bass trip tomorrow, Fluke fishing Daily from Saturday on, 7:30am till 2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. We can still keep Sea Bass over the weekend if you catch them.

Took the ride to our daily haunt for the past several weeks....
Read the fish and thought we were in. First drop was not good, made a shift to a little deeper water, read them again and caught just a couple fish. Ran back to a little shallower water, read the Hell out of the fish and thought we were in for sure.......They didn't bite and trust me I'm not making this stuff up!
I Talked to Capt. Rich on the Golden Eagle and he said the same thing! Seeing them and catching them are two different stories!
Left the area for shallow water, Slugged away with better action on two drops, keepers and short action......Several Tog and a half a dozen Fluke in the mix.
Back at it tomorrow.......Friday is the last Sea Bass trip. Fluke fishing from Saturday on, every day, 7:30am till 2:30pm, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
Went for fuel today, $5.99 a Gallon, $410 a day to fish were we have been going, I will still do what I have to do and go where we have to go no matter what......Screw you JOE, I'm not going away!!!

Another beautiful day out there today!
Started the morning with a drift, didn't like the conditions, the drift or the bite. I had a nice reading and decided to Anchor on it.
Had good action right off the bat on the larger Sea Bass that we had been catching. Got about 45 minutes out of the one drop with steady action. Made several more drops the rest of the day slugging away on Sea Bass, Ling & Flounder.
92 Year Old Fishermen Henry, who has fished all the boats over the years showed the young'uns how to get it done landing his 10 nice keepers and a 4 pound Winter Flounder to take the daily pool.
Dave B, Steve & my Nephew Ryan all put together nice catches today. Weather looks great all week, Friday is the last shot at the Sea Bass as we start Fluke fishing on Saturday.
Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
See you in the AM!

Beautiful day on the Ocean today with a great group of guys!
Looked over the inshore stuff on the way out this morning and didn't even stop. Way too may tiny fish to waste our time. Headed off to the deep and found a nice little snag with some fish on it, worked it all day.
No mad bite but everyone went home with the meat by the end of the day. The readings are no where near what they were a couple weeks ago and some of the drops are barren but we can still put a catch together everyday.
Weather looks good all week, last shot for Sea Bass will be Friday, Saturday we start Fluke fishing.....
Back at it in the AM. Open Boat, No reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. Tackle available on Board.

Very tough day today!
Fished three area's with only a couple handful of Keepers, a few ling and a bunch of shorts. Anchored, Drifted didn't matter.
Jigging did work better than the bait today for those whose fished that way. Back at it tomorrow.
FLUKE FISHING BEGINS SATURDAY JUNE 18th (next week) for us.
