Much better fishing today than what we had the first two trips.
Conditions were fine, fish were hungry. Some Big Trigger fish in the mix with Super Dave landing 4 big fish. Frank had one that went 4 pounds to take the pool and we did have a few more.
Way too many short Sea Bass & small Porgies that you can't get away from but the action is good. Everyone went home with dinner.
WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE TOMORROW/SATURDAY.
Back at it on Sunday, Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
Just a small group of guys for the first bottom trip today but we went anyway. Had to do some exploring.
That's just about what we did, explore!!! Hard current most of the morning in the first area made it almost impossible to fish. We did manage a hand full of nice Trigger fish though.
Took a ride to try and find better life. Had a handful of Big Porgies but the Sea bass were ferocious no matter what drop we fished. Had to throw back a couple dozen beauties, which in my book is BS!!!
Weather looks great all week, will be back out tomorrow to give it hell.
NOT AVAILABLE THIS COMING SATURDAY.....sorry.
Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90. Using Clams for bait.
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
Starting This Wednesday we will be Bottom fishing for Porgies.....7:30am-2:30pm.
Open boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90.
Not enough local Fluke and that Long ride to where we've been fishing just isn't going to make it anymore. I was hoping we would have a nice bounce back after that swell last week but the fish will only be moving further off and we are at our Max traveling distance as it is.
We are "NOT AVAILABLE" this coming Saturday......sorry.

Very nice day out there today, Swell laid down nicely, Ocean was crystal clear.
Not much in the way of conditions with not much drift. The shorts didn't bite like yesterday but the fish we did keep were all beauties including a 7 pound 12 ounce pool fish.
Going to hang in there a couple more days and see if that bite turns back on for us. If not we will be Porgy fishing soon.
See you in the AM

Had no idea what to expect after 4 days off and a Nasty swell all week.
I was surprised when the first fish landed by John was a nice 4 pound Fluke, it went on to take the pool at the end of the day.
Short life, some Porgy, Nice Sea Bass that had to go back and a couple blues. Johnnie P and Steve landed their three, some guys with 2.
Not a great bite but like I said we had action. Back at it tomorrow.
Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. 7:30am sailing, Fare is $90.
