Headed back to where we had the fish yesterday, didn't even stop as the bait & fish weren't there!!
Found plenty of bait a couple miles away but the bass didn't bite. Covered many miles searching, fishing the bait that we found but no good. Took a late ride back down the beach, fished the bunkers and ended up with a few fish and a couple lost.
Huge let down after the past two days but that's the way it goes in my world. Back at it tomorrow, it's just the begining of the fall run.
Don't wait for the next good report, be the report! Sailing everyday.

Once again, the first boat out and we were on the meat right off the bat!
All big fish today with several guys landing their personal best. Loads of bait in the area along with several area's of fish. All Jigs with tails & plain jigs. Back at it in the AM....Sailing early!
7:00am-2:00/2:30pm. First boat out, First boat on the meat. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $20. Jigs for sale aboard.

FISHERMEN/ON THE MEAT IN THE SNOT!!!

South wind came up early with the change of tide today. Found the life and played run & gun most of the morning catching one two fish a drift.
The nastier it got with the wind against the tide, the better they bit and it got nasty! 2nd trip in and we got to do a nice video of the action, all big fish. Miguel was high hook with 4 beauties today.
Sadly, we will have to take a pass on tomorrow (Monday) South 25 again with rain in the AM will keep the customers home. Rest of the week looks good, the bite is just starting, don't miss it!

FISHERMEN/STRIPED BASS SATURDAY

Fished several area's today, plenty of bait with bass blowing up in all area's.
Problem was they were very tough to catch!! We would get set up, they would move and pop up a hundred yards away. This went on all day!!! We managed a couple fish just to add insult to injury, they were too big and had to go back. Encouraging though to see the fish are here, hopefully they bite better tomorrow.

FISHERMEN/STRIPER TIME

As much as I would love to keep bottom fishing for another week, I think the weather the past few days may have been the swan song for the inshore Sea Bass.
We will be bringing the boat back late Tuesday, getting ready on Wednesday to start Striped Bass fishing on Thursday. Several area's of fish been showing life just before the storm along with a nice amount of bait in the area's. Hopefully the past several days of Snot got those babies moving!!
Will be fishing with Jigs & Shads in the back bay, ocean, wherever we have to go to get it done.
Don't forget our early Sailing time is 7:00AM sharp.
