Pretty much the same scenerio as yesterday.
Picked away each drift until the tide changed after that we went into search mode. Fished 4 area's all of which had crazy small Sea Bass life,it was hard to keep the baits on the hook. Had some short fluke and a couple handfuls of keepers at the end of the day....Back out tomorrow to give it hell once again.
Prayers going out to one of my Best, Big John the Vet is fighting the hard battle we all fear. We love you my friend, don't quit!!!!

Had a nice little pick going to start the day today with some shorts, a couple nice keepers and a few Sea Bass bending the rods.
Got a couple drifts out of it until the tide changed, South wind came up earlier than expected and it got a little cranky. Left the area and found a bit more life but it wasn't good by no means yet much better than yesterday, at least we had action.
Breeze coming around into the West for tomorrow and the whole week looks good for fishing. Fluke Parmigiana for me tonight! See you in the AM...

Covered several areas today looking for the bite.
Inshore, offshore and in between with nothing we could actually work. Still had a good ground swell coming in but it wasn't rough. No pukers so that was a plus!
Read the bait and Sea Bass off the bottom in all area's, we did catch some Sea Bass and a couple fluke with nothing to report about. Swell should lay down over the next few days and the upcoming weather looks great for fishing this week. Back at it in the AM.....

We are now looking at Saturday to return fishing.
The next two days are out with the huge swell starting to come ashore. I'll repost on Friday just to confirm.
Thanks for checking in, Capt. Ron
Found action every drop we hit today but had to keep moving to get away from the traffic.
Crazy short action with Dave B landing over 30 fish without a keeper!!! Several customers did well with the keepers including Shawn Pearl who landed 4 beauties and a handful of guys with their three some with 2. Pool fish went 4 pounds 9 ounces.
Looks like we wil be tied up for a couple days, hard NE tomorrow then going East for Tuesday. Not going to waste anyones time trying to fish the Verranzano just to get the day in.
I'll repost on Tuesday about the rest of the week, hopefully the swell and wind lay down sooner than later.
Capt. Ron
