Checked out some new area's today to change it up.
I can say it's not much of a change with the bite in those area's. Caught the shorts with a few nice fish that's about it. Pool fish went 4 pounds for the big man with the Rod Rental. Gen Wong had two nice keepers and a beauty Sea Bass by days end.
We are not sailing until Sunday, Tall ships & Fireworks for the next two days. Can't wait for this weekend to be over!!! See you on Sunday.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $95, under 12 $50.

Headed out with a nice crew for a holiday weekday. Had the last of the tide like yesterday and slugged away on the short fish. Just a couple keepers as the bigger fish didn't get the memo today.
Worked several area's as the south wind came up early, the current ran hard to the SE and 10 ounces couldn't hold even with the wind against the tide.
Very sad to see the huge factory ships (Bunker boats) working inshore.
The bunkers that are left are small and really not that plenty-full, the last of the forage fish, when they are gone will see the end of what we used to call fishing. Back at it in the AM.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations Fare is $95, under 12 $50.

Had a nice morning bite at the change of tide today.
The guys went to work right off the bat landing some very nice keepers. Gen Wong lead the way with his three and a 4 pound fish for the pool. Eric & a couple other customers had their three by days end, several guys with two. Couple nice Sea Bass in the mix as well.
The gulp sand eels have been working the best the past couple of trips. Bring lots of water, sunscreen, ice and a small cooler for your fish, you don't want them to poach in a bucket of hot water. Sailing everyday except FRIDAY & SATURDAY WITH THE HOLIDAY.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $95, under 12 $50.
See you in the AM, Capt. Ron
Tickets still available for the Tall ships parade & Fireworks on the 4th! Don't miss the boat.
Water temp back up to 65.7 today. Not much of a drift but we made due with what we had.
Slugged away with action all day on several drops for the first time this Fluke season.
Some beauties finally showing up, June had her three up to 4 1/2 pounds. Lenny & Richie worked it hard all day for their three with fish close to 4 pounds. Couple customers with 2 nice fish and a whole bunch of short action throught the day.
Scott Rever is the new Monthly pool leader with a very nice 5lb. 2oz Fluke. Loads of bait in the area now that the water has warmed up, bait was still the ticket to catching today!
Sailing daily 7:30-2:30pm. Open boat, No Reservations. Fare is $95, under 12 $50.
Folks, please tip my crew, these men work their asses off everyday, especially for the rod rental customers who they have to spend most of their time with. To get off the boat and show NO appreciation is a slap in the face for the effort they give to make your day a good one.
Tickets still available for the Tall ship parade & Fireworks on the 4th!!
