Tough bite today with some crappy conditions....
Third day of the heat I think took it's toll on both the customers and the fish. Had current all day running into the beach with the current down below running out to the east. We would get the bites with the fish just hanging on and never attacking the bait or the jigs.
Managed a couple handfulls of nice keepers, the pool fish going 5.5 pounds but I wouldn't call this good fishing. Weather going to change by tomorrow, it should get the bite going once again.
Fish are there we have been catching them the past few trips, so don't miss the bite! Back at it in the AM.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rod Rental $10 (comes with 1 setup).
See you in the AM, Capt. Ron
Finally had a nice drift today but it was still HOT!!
First couple drifts we were on the keepers, fish up to 4 1/2 pounds with several guys landing their 3. With the light gang we had I got to toss in a line.
My first fish went just under 5 pounds, landed two more nice keepers on the same drift, dropped the Rod (mic) and went up to the air conditioner.
Big Tom, Steven, Jimmy, Frank P, Pete and myself all had our 3 by days end.
Steven Lauria took the pool with a 4.4 pound fish. Fluke Fishing everyday.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50.
Rods $10. Bring Ice!!

Much better fishing for us today despite the heat and lack of conditions.
Bounced around all morning picking here and there, we finally got a nice drift the latter part of the day and the bite turned on. Good action with more keepers and plenty of shorts.
Several guys had their 3 by days end and a few with 2 keepers in the cooler. Had to work it and stay with it all day to get it done. Keith, Scotty, Kevin, Kevin, Joe and young Joe all had their 3 by days end. Sailing everyday.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rod Rental $10.
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
Once again we started out the day with No current, No drift.
Had to power drift to catch the fish that we did with a whole bunch of shorts in between the keepers.
The picture did a 180 after some lightning, wind and rain came through. Drift went a knot and a half, then backed off again! Crazy day to say the least.
Bill Chevareny took the pool with a nice 4 pound Fluke. Will see what tomorrow brings.
7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rod Rentals $10. Rod Rentals come set-up, if you loose the rig it must be replaced, I can not supply tackle all day for a $10 rental. Sorry.
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
Conditions were not in our favor today for the Climatic Co. Charter.
With not a breeze and two different currents running all day. We did slug away and had action, shorts and a couple handfuls of keepers for the crew. Also had to toss back some beauty Sea Bass.
Pool fish went 3 pounds. Back to Open Boat tomorrow.
7:30am-2:30pm. No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Kids under 12 $50, Rods $10.
Bring Ice and lots of water the next couple of days, it's going to be hot . We should have an Ocean breeze tomorrow to help cool things off.
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
