Today we had the crew from J. Fletcher Creamer & son out with us for their annual fishing charter.
Took a bit to get the guys acclimated, especially with the conditions we were faced with. By early afternoon it was game on with the big fish once again. Every drift produced 2 to 4 beauties on live bait, High hook for the gang had 5 another fellow had 4, some with 2.
Had our first taste of some snot as the wind was honking, not a full snot day though, maybe tomorrow!! Lots of NW the next couple of days should get the jig bite going.
Starting to see the sea lice on the fish and a customer this morning showed me a video of a huge mass of fish coming down the hudson, white water just past the George Washington bridge.
Sailing everyday 7:00am-2:30pm. Open boat, No Reservations. Fare is $100, Rod Rental $20.
See you in the AM,
Capt. Ron
