Lot's of current this morning to start the day, caught fish right away for those who had the heavier rods and could stay near the bottom. Had to leave the area when the drift went way past a knot.
Went searching, found life and waited for the current to back off, when it did the bite turned on!
Wade lead the way with 4 nice keepers including a beauty at 5lbs 1oz. Mark Hrubic had the pool fish at 5lb 9oz, that is until Catskill John got slammed by another great fish weighing in at 7lbs 11oz's. John is the new Monthly pool leader.
Couple with their 3, some with 2 nice fish and a bunch of Sea Bass. Patience paid off today! Back at it in the AM.
7:30-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations. Fare is $95, Rod Rentals $20. Bring a heavier rod just in case you need the weight!!!
